Buttercup Creek is located just on the other side of the Northwest Austin city limit in the booming town of Cedar Park. The neighborhood is bounded by U.S. Highway 183 to the east, Lakeline to the west, West Park to the north, and Cypress Creek to the south. With the recent expansion of US 183 it's never been faster and more convenient to travel in between Cedar Park and downtown Austin.
Once a starter community in a small suburb, Buttercup Creek and Cedar Park have experienced massive growth over the past ten years and now offer everything you would expect out of a growing, modern town.
The neighborhood is just a quick car ride away from Lakeline Mall, a hotspot for shopping, movies, and restaurants. Lake Travis, one of the largest of the central Texas Highland Lake chain, is also close by and offers plenty of things for fishing, water-skiing, tubing, and boating enthusiasts to do. Furthermore, the Leander-Cedar Park Youth League Sports complex offers twenty-one acres full of sports activities and facilities to keep the kids fit and having fun.
Buttercup Creek is serviced by the fast-growing Leander Independent School District where students attend either Faubion or Nauman Elementary, Henry Middle School, and Vista Ridge High School.
